Hastelloy Products

Hastelloy C series has many excellent corrosion resistance alloys, good resistance to oxidation and medium reducing corrosion, excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and local corrosion resistance, and satisfactory corrosion resistance in many chemical process media. Hastelloy C series has been widely used in chemical and petrochemical fields, such as in components and catalytic systems that contact chloride-containing organic compounds. It is especially suitable for use in high temperature, inorganic acids (phosphoric acid) and organic acids (such as acetic acid, acetic anhydride, formic acid and acetic acid) mixed with impurities, and seawater corrosive environments.

Hastelloy B contains molybdenum, so it has good corrosion resistance to all concentrations of hydrochloric acid at boiling point, while the vast majority of metals and alloys cannot resist this strong corrosive environment. In addition, it is also resistant to acetic acid, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, hydrofluoric acid, organic acid and other non-oxidizing acids, alkalis, non-oxidizing salt solutions, etc.

Hastelloy G series products have more excellent corrosion resistance than most other nickel-based and iron-based alloys in mixed environments of phosphoric acid and many highly oxidizing acid media such as nitric acid/hydrochloric acid, nitric acid/hydrofluoric acid and sulfuric acid.
