Incoloy800 used in F, CI, ammonia acid medium condensation conditions, in H2SO4HNO3And its mixed solution also has good corrosion resistance. It is resistant to pressure corrosion and polyethylene corrosion. Mainly used for nuclear generators, water heaters, gas coolers, waste steam boilers.

Incoloy 800H can resist a lot of corrosive medium corrosion. Its high nickel content makes it have good resistance to stress corrosion cracking in aqueous corrosion conditions. The high chromium content makes it have better resistance to pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion cracking. The alloy has good resistance to nitric acid and organic acid corrosion, but the corrosion resistance in sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid is limited. In addition to the possibility of pitting corrosion in halides, it has good corrosion resistance in oxidizing and non-oxidizing salts. It also has good corrosion resistance in a mixture of water, steam, air, and carbon dioxide.

Incoloy825 has acid and alkali metal corrosion resistance in both oxidizing and reducing environments. The high nickel content provides the alloy with effective stress corrosion cracking resistance. The corrosion resistance in various media is very good, such as sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, nitric acid and organic acids, alkaline solutions such as sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, etc.
